Flute Lessons
Students can expect to learn scales, beginner music theory, essential pieces in the flute repertoire, practice techniques, and other skills (such as sight reading) that are important for any young flutist to have.
Overview
Last May, I received my bachelor's degree in music performance from SUNY Fredonia. During my time there, I had the privilege of performing with the Western New York Chamber Orchestra.
I had my first private student seven years ago when I was in high school, and I am looking forward to sharing all I have learned during those years with my future students!
Starting this fall, I will be pursuing a master's degree in music performance at SUNY Purchase.
Questions and Answers
Why are you a music teacher?
I am a music teacher because I wholeheartedly believe that the future of music lies with the young people. It's the people who grow up and they see an instrument, and they think that it's the coolest thing, and they want to learn it. And they give themselves a passion for music. Those people are the future, and I want to help enrich those people, and help create a bright future for classical music.
