Overview

I have been playing saxophone for 10 years and am a professional performer/educator. In high school I played at Carnegie Hall and was in a successful Northern Californian jazz quartet that cut three CD's and was featured at renowned festivals and on television. I studied at Berklee College of Music under acclaimed faculty and played professionally at world famous clubs in New England. I have taught privately and at various arts academies with guaranteed methods that have made my students successful in their own right.

Teaching Philosophy

Above all else, music comes from within! Every individual has their musical taste, and it is my job to help them take that specific passion to the next level of skill and enjoyment. I advocate the importance of dedication in practice, continual strive of knowledge and improvement, and most of all a cherished love for your musical endeavors. Connecting the deeper meanings with the tangible within music is my specialty, and once the above are committed to, the performance comes effortlessly. Every lesson MUST include fun!
