I started playing music at the age of 11 and recently received my B.A. in music composition at Occidental College. During college I began teaching my fellow peers, and during my summer breaks I would teach music lessons to young children at a summer camp. I love sharing my passion of music with others; it brings people together. I am an experienced educator for beginner and intermediate guitar, bass, and piano.

I have been performing and collaborating with various Orange County artists since I was 16 years old, and am currently a session guitarist across the Southern California music scene. Having experience learning music at Vanguard University and teaching students in private lessons and group courses, I understand the musical education process on both ends.

Music Teacher - Thomas L
Music Teacher Alhambra, CA

I have been playing saxophone, clarinet, flute and piano for seventeen years, and have been a career musician and educator for ten. My last job was as a high school band teacher in New York, and before that I taught elementary instrumental music in Japan. I graduated from the Eastman School of Music with degrees in music education and jazz performance. I have enjoyed an exciting career as a performer, but my first love is teaching. Beginning and advanced students are challenged, yet fun is always first in my studio!
