Fun Cello Lessons - Claire C

I am a cellist who has been playing for almost 20 years of my life. I graduated from UC Irvine in 2014, and have had extensive experience as a soloist, in orchestra, and in chamber music. I competed as a soloist and with my piano trio and loved to play gigs with my quartet at different venues. I am currently assistant principal of the IVC Symphony Orchestra.Learning classical music can be hard, and I have first-hand experience in feeling the frustrations and pressure of not improving. I believe the teacher makes a huge impact on whether the student continues to persevere through the struggles or gives up and loses their interest in the instrument. My experience studying under private music teachers for both cello and piano gives me a unique perspective on what works and what doesn't. I like to get to know the student and set goals together so I know that we are on the same page on what we are hoping to achieve. My students can expect to not only improve week by week but also increase their love for the cello.I look forward to meeting you and helping you to become a better musician!

Local college student studying to be a teacher. I've played the cello since I was 9 so for 15 years. I completely love it and would love to share that love with some new students. My cello has brought me so much happiness and even gave me the opportunity to go to Europe twice to play in my high school orchestra my freshmen year and then during the summer of my junior year I traveled throughout Hungary and Austria with a proffesional orchestra. I'd love a chance to teach you this amazing and beautiful instrument!

I have been playing cello for 12 years. I perform with many chamber groups and the symphony orchestra at Cal State Fullerton. I have been giving lessons to young students for 4 years and find it to be very rewarding. I am currently studying in my fifth year to receive my bachelors in music education at Cal State University, Fullerton. I hope to spread the magic of music to younger generations for the rest of my life.
