Hello! I'm Steve Epting and I am a singer/songwriter and entertainer. I was born and raised on Chicago’s south side, but now I'm on the Los Angeles music scene.I am a recent graduate of Eastern University with a Bachelor’s Degree in Music. I'm a classically trained vocalist that sings in a plethora of genres (Gospel, Jazz, Pop, and R&B). I have been singing since I was 3 and I love to work with people that want to become better singers! In addition to being a singer/songwriter, I am a vocal coach, vocal producer/arranger and an actor. I got my start singing in Chicago church choirs, advancing toward acting on Chicago’s Black Ensemble Theater stage, and ultimately performing a plethora of musical genres on many grand stages across the country. Being the son of a pastor, I have a heavy background in Gospel music. As I grew in age and musical maturity, I began to be influenced by many genres such as R&B, Jazz, Pop, and Country music. Some of my musical influences include Nat King Cole, John Legend, Lady Antebellum, Motown, and the musical element of Disney films. These influences, I believe, help to make me a well-rounded artist and performer. I love teaching music and working with those eager to sharpen their craft! I love being able to share my knowledge, helping others achieve their goals and dreams!I would love to work with you! Let's get started today!

I am a professional performer, composer, and educator based in Louisville, Kentucky. I am originally from Florida; I relocated to Louisville to pursue my Masters of Music in Choral Conducting at the University of Louisville. Prior to that, I studied Vocal Performance at the University of North Florida.I have performed alongside the Louisville Chamber Choir, Louisville Orchestra, Jacksonville Symphony Orchestra, and Brevard Symphony Orchestra, and have toured internationally with the prestigious University of Louisville Cardinal Singers under the direction of Dr. Kent Hatteberg. I have conducted the University of Louisville Collegiate Chorale and University Chorus, as well as the University of North Florida Chamber Singers and Osprey Men’s Chorus.Teaching is my job; this is not a side gig, but a full-time profession. When I'm not teaching, I am usually composing for choral ensembles, combining my love for Renaissance Italian madrigals with progressive rock and metal to create new, exciting sounds from choirs, or spending entirely too much time playing LEGO Batman with my five year old.
