Singer Songwriting Lessons - Steve E

Hello! I'm Steve Epting and I am a singer/songwriter and entertainer. I was born and raised on Chicago’s south side, but now I'm on the Los Angeles music scene. I am a recent graduate of Eastern University with a Bachelor’s Degree in Music. I'm a classically trained vocalist that sings in a plethora of genres (Gospel, Jazz, Pop, and R&B). I have been singing since I was 3 and I love to work with people that want to become better singers! In addition to being a singer/songwriter, I am a vocal coach, vocal producer/arranger and an actor. I got my start singing in Chicago church choirs, advancing toward acting on Chicago’s Black Ensemble Theater stage, and ultimately performing a plethora of musical genres on many grand stages across the country. Being the son of a pastor, I have a heavy background in Gospel music. As I grew in age and musical maturity, I began to be influenced by many genres such as R&B, Jazz, Pop, and Country music. Some of my musical influences include Nat King Cole, John Legend, Lady Antebellum, Motown, and the musical element of Disney films. These influences, I believe, help to make me a well-rounded artist and performer. I love teaching music and working with those eager to sharpen their craft! I love being able to share my knowledge, helping others achieve their goals and dreams! I would love to work with you! Let's get started today!
