My desire to inspire musicians to be the best they can be is why I want to teach. My lessons include a lot of technical work for tone, fingerings, and style. While technical stuff is important, it is not the only thing I do. Once a technique is learned by a student I think it is very important to give them something fun and musical to play to really drive the technique into their heads. Like anything else trumpet requires practice. I practice 2+ hours a day. I don't expect that from you, but practice is needed.
"Megan is my daughter's piano teacher. We are so thankful and satisfied with her service. Megan is very professional, knowledgeable and passionate about music. We (parents,) have witnessed drastic improvements in my daughter's music skills. We have learn to trust Megan with her teachings. Best way to describe Megan: patient, kind, caring and knows how to change the "I, can't do this" to "oh, is fun and yes! I CAN! ". "Eriel Wright - Los Angeles, CA
"Sean is a very patient and encouraging teacher for our 10 year old son. He noticed some bad habbits of our son's playing and gave helpful tips for practices to correct those habbits. He often explains things in creative ways with patience and kindness. Our son has definitely improved in his piano skill, but more so now he is motivated in playing. We look forward to more of Sean's creative teaching styles and hope he could bring more challenges to our rather passive son."Esther Tan - Cerritos, CA
