Singer Songwriting Lessons - Steve E
Singer Songwriting LessonsPanorama City, CA

Hello! I'm Steve Epting and I am a singer/songwriter and entertainer. I was born and raised on Chicago’s south side, but now I'm on the Los Angeles music scene.I am a recent graduate of Eastern University with a Bachelor’s Degree in Music. I'm a classically trained vocalist that sings in a plethora of genres (Gospel, Jazz, Pop, and R&B). I have been singing since I was 3 and I love to work with people that want to become better singers! In addition to being a singer/songwriter, I am a vocal coach, vocal producer/arranger and an actor. I got my start singing in Chicago church choirs, advancing toward acting on Chicago’s Black Ensemble Theater stage, and ultimately performing a plethora of musical genres on many grand stages across the country. Being the son of a pastor, I have a heavy background in Gospel music. As I grew in age and musical maturity, I began to be influenced by many genres such as R&B, Jazz, Pop, and Country music. Some of my musical influences include Nat King Cole, John Legend, Lady Antebellum, Motown, and the musical element of Disney films. These influences, I believe, help to make me a well-rounded artist and performer. I love teaching music and working with those eager to sharpen their craft! I love being able to share my knowledge, helping others achieve their goals and dreams!I would love to work with you! Let's get started today!

Singing Coach - Viva V

Singing CoachReseda, CA

I had a career as an actress in my late teens. After growing weary of a life pursuing a career in TV, I deepened my interest in musical theater and musical plays. From my interest in musical theater came a deeper desire to study the fundamentals of music. I quickly transitioned from a career in acting to a career as a professional singer. I started intently focusing my time and energy on music in 2001, and by 2003 I was touring all over Asia. I still perform regularly, but also I have profound passion for education.

Darci Monet is a seasoned professional vocalist, vocal coach, songwriter, comedic actor, talk show host, speed demon typist and retired nanny. I have been singing for a little over six years, an active performer and continuing student. After leaving the military in 2011, I decided to finally pursue my dream of studying music. I was accepted to Musicians Institute College of Contemporary Music in 2012 and graduated with my Associates in Vocal Performance in 2013 and decided to pursue my bachelors which I am doing to this very day. The thrill I get from learning a new song or musical concept is something I always want to share. I'm proud of my passion.

I perform regularly around town with a jazz trio. I also perform every holiday season with an a capella caroling group (The Caroling Company).REVIEWS FROM STUDENTS“Donna is fantastic!! She is knowledgeable, skilled, warm and supportive. What I appreciate most is her ability in a wide variety of vocal styles as well as helping me navigate the "mixed" voice - helping me to gain strength without hurting my voice. She is totally wonderful!” – Susan H., voice over professional“I have had such an amazing experience with Donna. She has pushed me to go places with my voice that I never thought I could go. She knows exactly what exercises to do depending on what is going on with my voice. She has given me the confidence to keep going! She rocks!” – Cara M., vocalist“Donna is an exceptional vocal coach. In the time that I have studied under her tutelage my vocal technique has improved by leaps and bounds. She is attentive, caring, and professional at all times. Donna is delightful and the time that I spend with her is always a joyous journey of performance.” – Monica G."In addition to being an amazing singer, Donna Deussen is an incredible teacher. Her creativity and musical intuition were exactly what I needed when recording my last album. Donna was able to bring out the "country flavor" in my music and helped me personalize my songs through creative licks and melodic alternatives. She helps guide her students through whatever project they may be working on, all the while exhibiting a wonderful blend of patience and encouragement. Any singer would be lucky to work with such a talented teacher!" - Stephanie D., recording artist“After having a total thyroidectomy, my voice needed professional help. Upon researching teachers on the internet, I chose Donna for several reasons: location, availability, affordability, and the fact she graduated from Berklee in Boston, a school I am familiar with. After emailing her, she promptly replied and we set up an appointment. Although she is not a voice therapist, after 2 lessons, her recommended exercises have helped me a lot. She is a lovely person and I was struck by her genuine desire to help me reach my goals. I enjoy working with her very much and would highly recommend her expertise to anyone, no matter what their level. I am not a novice, and find her professional experience to be a blessing.” - Kathie U.

Hello, dear students! Thank you for visiting my site.I began helping my fellow vocal performance majors with their lessons while in my junior year of college--essentially, music tutoring. Shortly after, I began leading a church choir, and accumulating students ranging from a 10-year old girl who was interested in singing, to an undergrad interested in music who was taking private lessons to fulfill a liberal arts requirement. I therefore have experience with students from children to seasoned adults, and I can help you.I graduated with my BA in Music with a concentration in Vocal Performance and Minor in Dance in the spring of 2009. I am currently a working actress in LA.My approach to teaching is no-nonsense. I will expect much of you in terms of effort and practice, and in return, I will not let you fail.Thank you for reading my profile and I can't wait to hear from you.
